At Pacific No.16 our members are proud to be part of the oldest and largest goodwill fraternity in the world. Our belief is that every man has a duty to make life better, not just for himself, but for all those around him also. Through Freemasonry we are pushed to better ourselves and help those around us, on a daily basis. There are many more ways this could take place, then just a charitable donation, though charitable giving is admiral. Being willing to help others when the opportunity presents itself, we all have times when we think in our mind, “I could help those people, I can make a difference.” Masons are encouraged to act on those thoughts of charity and relief. It could be driving a sick or distressed person around, to ease their burden for shopping and other essential needs. It could be helping teach children to read, or donating your time for at risk youth, showing them an example of kindness and goodness. Freemasons are not a religious order, we do not speak about politics or religion in lodge. We all share a belief in a supreme being, but the interpretation of what or who that is, is left to the individual mason to determine for himself.
At Pacific No.16 we all strive to become better men, our ambition is self-betterment. As we improve ourselves we improve the world around us, our community, our family and our friends. We are proud of the welcoming spirit that we have at Pacific No.16. If you are a brother and visiting from out of town we would love to see you at our lodge, let us know you’re coming so we can roll out the red carpet for you and make you feel like our lodge is your second home. If you are new to Freemasonry and are considering joining send us an email, or join us for dinner at our lodge on the 4th Wednesday of the month (after Covid loosens its grip), and get to know what we are like in person. Join us and be the change in the world that you want to see.
